Waalwijk – June 24, 2026 – Netherlands-based 2Connect, a global leader in high-mix, low-volume customer-specific interconnectivity solutions for mission-critical applications, is pleased to announce that it has acquired SATec, a leading German provider of automation technology, cable assembly, and electrotechnical systems, mainly for the Defense and industrial automation industry.
SATec is recognized for its high engineering standards, technical depth, and reliable execution for demanding defense and industrial customers. SATec's core capabilities include: i) Cable assemblies and cable harnesses (from single units to series production), ii) Control cabinet and switch panel manufacturing, iii) Electrical hardware and software engineering, including PLC and automation solutions, iv) System installation and commissioning projects, and v) Dedicated solutions for the defense industry, compliant with military standards and associated documentation requirements
With this acquisition, 2Connect combines its high-mix, low-volume interconnect expertise with SATec's strong engineering and system integration capabilities.
