At 2Connect with Vision Technology by Components Express (CEI), a fast-growing international specialist in advanced interconnection solutions, we are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to strengthen our presence within the Machine Vision and Industrial Automation markets.
In this role, you will take the lead across Europe in identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and representing a company known for its engineering excellence, innovative mindset, and strong global footprint. What success looks like in your first year
Within your first 12 months, you will have built a strong presence in the European Machine Vision and Industrial Automation market. You will have established a healthy pipeline of new opportunities, opened doors at key Distributors, OEMs and system integrators, and translated customer challenges into concrete projects together with our engineering teams. Customers will recognize you as a knowledgeable, reliable partner who understands their technical environment and brings valuable solutions to the table. Your proactive approach, structured way of working, and ability to build trust across all levels will directly contribute to measurable revenue growth and long‑term partnerships.
How do you approach this?
Understand the customer environment: Analyze their technical setup, challenges, workflows, and decision-making structure.
Translate needs into value: Connect customer pain points to clear benefits, technical performance improvements, or cost savings.
Build multilevel relationships: Engage engineering, procurement, operations, and management to secure broad buy in.
Focus on new business: Proactively identify prospects, generate leads, and open doors through structured outreach.
Stay ahead of the market: Track trends, competitor movements, and project developments to identify opportunities early.
Take full ownership: Manage your pipeline with discipline, transparency, and accountability.
Drive the sales cycle: Guide prospects from first contact to closed deal through clear communication and solution oriented.
Aim for long-term partnerships: Deliver reliability, consistency, and value customers can count on.

You bring a technical or commercial education with a strong affinity for engineering, ideally supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
You are based in Southern Germany, ideally in the Nuremberg, Munich, Stuttgart or Frankfurt area.
You demonstrate excellent proficiency in both German and English.
