2Connect is growing fast, both organically and through strategic acquisitions in Germany and the United States. That growth calls for one IT environment that supports and accelerates our ambitions: solid, secure and future-proof. As Group IT Manager you are the go-to person for IT within the group. You report to the Group CFO and work with a deliberately compact team of three IT colleagues in the Netherlands and Romania, complemented by selected external partners. That makes you a hands-on leader as well as a sparring partner at board level: broad enough to steer, deep enough to notice when a partner is selling something that does not add up. And because the group keeps growing, this role grows with it, towards CIO.
Your responsibilities
You define and maintain the group IT roadmap, with a helicopter view and a keen eye on the key IT developments.
You bring structure to an IT landscape that is currently largely standalone, with different ERP systems and network partners.
You prepare strategic updates and management presentations, and underpin IT projects with an impact analysis before requesting budget.
You deliver the IT integration of acquired companies into the group structure, on time and efficiently.
You safeguard the security, stability and efficiency of systems and processes; security and compliance, including the further rollout of NIS2, is a key driver.
You select and manage external partners: they come with a plan, you challenge and approve it. Together with a partner you appoint, you accelerate the current AI processes.
You lead and coach the IT team.
Who are you?
Extensive experience in IT leadership roles within growing, international organizations.
Proven expertise in post-acquisition IT integration, both technical and organizational.
Experience in a private equity environment, or an organization with comparable agility in decision-making and growth.
Knowledge of security and compliance, including NIS2, and insight into what AI demands of business operations.
A hands-on mentality and the ability to explain and defend choices at board level.
Leadership and team development are part of your track record.
Strong strategic and communication skills; result-driven, analytical and decisive.
Pre: international experience, data or BI experience, and the ability to switch between detail and strategy.

Je rapporteert aan de Group CFO en werkt met een bewust compact team van drie IT-collega's in Nederland en Roemenië, aangevuld met geselecteerde externe partners. Je bent daarmee meewerkend voorman én gesprekspartner op directieniveau: breed genoeg om te sturen, diep genoeg om te zien wanneer een partner iets verkoopt dat niet klopt. En omdat de groep doorgroeit, groeit deze rol mee, richting CIO.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
Je stelt de IT-roadmap voor de groep op en beheert die, met een helicopter view en zicht op de belangrijkste IT-ontwikkelingen.
Je brengt structuur aan in een IT-landschap dat nu grotendeels standalone is ingericht, met verschillende ERP-systemen en netwerkpartners.
Je bereidt strategische updates en managementpresentaties voor en onderbouwt IT-projecten met een impactanalyse, voordat je om budget vraagt.
Je realiseert de IT-integratie van overgenomen bedrijven in de groepsstructuur, op tijd en efficiënt.
Je bewaakt de veiligheid, stabiliteit en efficiëntie van systemen en processen; security en compliance, waaronder de verdere uitrol van NIS2, is een key driver.
Je selecteert externe partners en stuurt ze aan: zij komen met een plan, jij toetst het. Samen met een door jou aangestuurde partner versnel je de huidige AI-processen.
Je stuurt en coacht het IT-team.
Wie ben je?
Ruime ervaring in IT-leiderschapsfuncties binnen groeiende, internationale organisaties.
Aantoonbare expertise in IT-integratie na overnames, zowel technisch als organisatorisch.
Ervaring in een private equity-omgeving, of een organisatie met vergelijkbare agility in besluitvorming en groei.
Kennis van security en compliance, waaronder NIS2, en inzicht in wat AI van de bedrijfsvoering vraagt.
Hands-on mentaliteit én het vermogen om keuzes op boardniveau uit te leggen en te verdedigen.
Leidinggeven en teamontwikkeling zitten in je trackrecord.
Sterke strategische en communicatieve vaardigheden; resultaatgericht, analytisch en besluitvaardig.
Pre: internationale ervaring, data- of BI-ervaring en het vermogen om te schakelen tussen detail en strategie.
