Your role

Within 2Connect's Semicon business line, you will be responsible for the technical and project-based guidance of customer requests, new product introductions and product changes. You assess drawings and specifications for manufacturability, monitor progress and ensure that all parties involved have the correct technical information in a timely manner.

You will work on interconnection solutions for complex high-tech machines and systems. In doing so, you translate technical customer requirements into clear starting points for calculation, quotation and production. Among other things, you assess technical product documentation and acceptance sheets and think along about constructions, materials, quality and feasibility.

This means that you form the technical link between the customer, account management, inside sales, engineering and 2Connect's international production locations. You do not have final commercial responsibility, but you are leading in terms of content on a technical level within projects.

You will work simultaneously on various NPI projects, revisions and technical customer questions. Some questions require a quick assessment; Other projects you supervise for several months. You constantly determine what has priority and what action is needed to take a project further.

You don't wait for information to come to you. When specifications are unclear or progress stagnates, you contact the customer or other stakeholders yourself to achieve clarity and decision-making.

The position is mainly internally focused. Occasionally, you will visit a customer or international production location together with an account or program manager. Within the international team, we regularly work together in English.

Your responsibilities

• You assess technical drawings, technical product documentation and acceptance sheets for completeness and manufacturability.

• You translate customer requirements into clear technical principles for calculation, quotation and production.

• You supervise new product introductions, samples, prototypes and first production orders.

• You coordinate revisions and product changes and ensure that they are processed correctly.

• You ensure that product calculations, technical documentation and necessary article data are available on time.

• You monitor the progress and priorities of multiple simultaneous projects.

• You actively collect information from customers, suppliers, engineering and production and address those involved about agreements made.

• You work closely with account management and inside sales and take care of the technical assessment and coordination within customer projects.

• You coordinate with colleagues at the international production locations to guarantee manufacturability, quality and lead time.

• You will participate in technical customer meetings and periodic customer and project consultations, including QBRs.

• You identify bottlenecks and contribute to improvements in manufacturability, quality and project lead time.

Who are you?

• You have an applied university or university educational background, preferably underpinned by a technical education. If you have no technical educational background, but you do have demonstrable experience with technical drawings, product documentation and manufacturability issues, then we would also like to get in touch with you.

• You have approximately 3 to 7 years of experience within a technical, production-oriented or project-based environment. Experience within the semiconductor industry or the high-tech manufacturing industry is a clear advantage.

• You can read, understand and assess technical drawings and product documentation.

• You keep an overview of multiple simultaneous projects and set priorities independently.

• You take ownership, keep agreements and address others when information or action is not forthcoming.

• You communicate easily with customers, engineers, production colleagues and commercial stakeholders.

• You dare to critically question technical requirements and propose alternative solutions.

• You have a good command of the English language. Mastery of Dutch is an advantage.
