Your role
At 2Connect, we are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to strengthen and further professionalize our quality organization, starting in the Netherlands (Waalwijk). This role is designed as a key steppingstone: you will begin with a strong focus on the Dutch organization and, based on performance and organizational needs, grow into a broader international / group-level quality role.
As a member of the local Management Team, you will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Sales and our international production locations, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the full product lifecycle – from sales and development through production and customer delivery. Your impact will be tangible: improving processes, strengthening systems, and building a sustainable quality culture.
Your responsibilities (start in the Netherlands)
In the first phase of the role, your primary focus will be on the Dutch organization:
Develop, implement and maintain the (Group) Quality Management System (QMS) in line with business needs and relevant standards.
Develop and maintain Quality Roadmap including reporting and follow-up with (Group) Management.
Safeguard and continuously improve product and process quality throughout the full lifecycle.
Plan and execute internal and external quality audits, including follow-up.
Analyze and report out on quality data and KPIs to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
Drive corrective and preventive actions through structured problem-solving methods.
Assess and continuously develop supplier and customer quality performance in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Report transparently to management and advice on quality-related improvements and risks.
Act as the main point of contact for key customers regarding complicated quality topics.
Growth ambitions
As you build credibility and deliver meaningful results, your scope will gradually expand beyond the Netherlands:
Contribute to the harmonization of quality standards and processes across international manufacturing sites.
Support the rollout of global quality and operational excellence initiatives.
Act as a sparring partner for local quality teams in Germany, Romania and other regions, gradually expanding your scope and impact across the international organization.
Represent quality at group level towards key international customers and stakeholders.
Play an active role in building quality capability, talent and continuous improvement culture across the organization.
This development path offers the opportunity to grow into a Group QHSE leadership role with international responsibility.
Who are you?
Academic level of thinking and working, preferably with a Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to complex quality challenges.
Maintains overview in a dynamic environment and works methodically and systematically on continuous improvements.
Comfortable navigating complexity, translating issues into clear priorities and actionable improvement plans.
Solid experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with cable assemblies, electromechanical products or similar is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO); experience with IATF 16949 and AS9100 is a strong plus.
Ambition and capability to grow into a broader, international leadership role.
A pragmatic, hands-on mindset combined with the ability to think structurally and strategically.
Strong communication and influencing skills in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
Affinity with sustainability and regulatory developments that impact manufacturing and supply chains is considered a plus.

Bij 2Connect zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Quality Manager om onze kwaliteitsorganisatie te versterken en verder te professionaliseren, te beginnen in Nederland (Waalwijk). Deze functie is bedoeld als een belangrijke stap: je start met een sterke focus op de Nederlandse organisatie en groeit, afhankelijk van prestaties en organisatiebehoeften, door naar een bredere internationale kwaliteitsrol op groepsniveau.
Als lid van het lokale Management Team werk je nauw samen met Operations, Engineering, Sales en onze internationale productielocaties, zodat kwaliteit in het gehele productproces is verankerd – van verkoop en ontwikkeling tot productie en levering aan de klant. Jouw impact is direct zichtbaar: processen verbeteren, systemen versterken en een duurzame kwaliteitscultuur opbouwen.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden (start in Nederland)
In de eerste fase ligt jouw focus op de Nederlandse organisatie:
Ontwikkelen, implementeren en onderhouden van het (Groeps) Quality Management System (QMS) in lijn met de bedrijfsbehoeften en relevante normen.
Ontwikkelen en beheren van de Quality Roadmap, inclusief rapportage en opvolging met (Groeps) Management.
Borgen en continu verbeteren van product- en proceskwaliteit gedurende de volledige levenscyclus.
Plannen en uitvoeren van interne en externe kwaliteitsaudits, inclusief opvolging.
Analyseren en rapporteren van kwaliteitsdata en KPI’s om trends, risico’s en verbeterkansen te identificeren.
Aansturen van correctieve en preventieve acties via gestructureerde probleemoplossingsmethoden.
Beoordelen en continu ontwikkelen van leveranciers- en klantkwaliteit samen met interne en externe stakeholders.
Transparant rapporteren aan management en adviseren over kwaliteitsverbeteringen en risico’s.
Optreden als aanspreekpunt voor belangrijke klanten bij complexe kwaliteitsthema’s.
Groei-ambities
Naarmate je geloofwaardigheid opbouwt en concrete resultaten behaalt, breidt je scope geleidelijk uit voorbij Nederland:
Bijdragen aan de harmonisatie van kwaliteitsnormen en processen bij internationale productielocaties.
Ondersteunen van de uitrol van wereldwijde kwaliteits- en operationele excellentie-initiatieven.
Optreden als sparringpartner voor lokale kwaliteitsteams in Duitsland, Roemenië en andere regio’s, waarbij je geleidelijk je scope en impact vergroot binnen de internationale organisatie.
Vertegenwoordigen van kwaliteit op groepsniveau richting belangrijke internationale klanten en stakeholders.
Actief bijdragen aan het ontwikkelen van kwaliteitscapaciteit, talent en een cultuur van continue verbetering binnen de organisatie.
Dit ontwikkel pad biedt de kans om door te groeien naar een Group QHSE leiderschapsrol met internationale verantwoordelijkheid.
Wie ben je?
WO-denkniveau, bij voorkeur met een masteropleiding in Engineering (bijv. Industrieel, Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektrotechniek of vergelijkbaar).
Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden, in staat om structuur aan te brengen in complexe kwaliteitsvraagstukken.
Behoudt overzicht in een dynamische omgeving en werkt methodisch en systematisch aan continue verbeteringen.
Voelt zich comfortabel bij complexiteit, vertaalt issues naar duidelijke prioriteiten en uitvoerbare verbeterplannen.
Ruime ervaring in een productieomgeving; ervaring met kabelassemblages, elektromechanische producten of vergelijkbaar is een pré.
Sterke kennis van kwaliteitstools en methodieken.
Diepgaande kennis van kwaliteitsnormen (bijv. ISO); ervaring met IATF 16949 en AS9100 is een sterke plus.
Ambitie en capaciteit om door te groeien naar een bredere, internationale leiderschapsrol.
Een pragmatische, hands-on instelling met het vermogen om zowel gestructureerd als strategisch te denken.
