Your role: building growth strategically and operationally

As a Senior Buyer at 2Connect, you’re more than just a link in the procurement chain. You see the bigger picture: how your decisions influence the entire supply chain, from supplier to customer. You work closely with the Procurement Manager to build and improve processes and our procurement strategies. You manage supplier relationships while also taking an active role in day-to-day operations. Think order placement, tracking deliveries, and shaping a future-proof procurement framework.

You collaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands, Romania, and other international locations, as well as with external stakeholders. You help us work smarter, more efficiently, and with a long-term vision. Not everything is set in stone yet — and that’s exactly what energizes you.

You work independently, think proactively about process optimization, and combine a hands-on mentality with a sharp analytical mindset.

• You develop and optimize procurement strategies with a clear view of the entire chain.

• You see change management not as a challenge but as an opportunity to make real impact.

• You build strong relationships with (international) suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• You contribute to sourcing, contract management, and category management.

• You participate in daily procurement operations and ensure everything runs smoothly.

• You help further professionalize our procurement organization.

• You are flexible and able to work at our locations in Oss and Waalwijk.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you bring the following qualities:

• At least 3 years of experience in procurement or another part of the supply chain, preferably in a technical or production environment.

• Strong analytical skills paired with a hands-on mentality.

• You think in processes and understand connections across the organization.

• Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to build something new.

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

• Experience with ERP systems and working in a technical or production environment is a plus.
